Kent Hoppenworth

Kent Hoppenworth has been staffing organizations for the past 18 years, during that time he has placed executive management, technical talent and support staff in a wide spectrum of industries across the United States. Kent has consulted many well-known companies such as, eBay, PayPal, JDA Software, Wells Fargo, American Express, US Bank, Discount Tire, DHL, Intel, Motorola, and Boeing.

Kent has been very successful in building solid infrastructures for many organizations by partnering closely with the executives and hiring managers to ensure the long-term goals and objectives are understood and met. He has a keen eye for selecting the best talent by analyzing the needs of the candidates and organization, while keeping the values and core competencies of the company in mind. He develops and utilizes recruiting strategies that streamline the staffing process making it easy to communicate with HR, the hiring authorities and the candidates.

Kent has developed staffing models, retention strategies and behavioral interviewing workbooks. He has also developed a guidebook, Staffing: The Successful Recruiting Tactics. By utilizing these tools many organizations have been able to significantly reduce their turnover rates and increased productivity.

Kent has laid the foundation and secured the building blocks for many organizations, ultimately enabling his clients to achieve their mission, vision and strategic goals in a more effective manner than traditional recruiting has allowed. The end result is turning dreams, ideas and concepts into reality by providing organizations with highly skilled, professional and productive talent while developing and creating an impeccable corporate culture and a flexible work environment.

The notions are integrated with behavioral interviewing and a performance based compensation plan, keeping employee worth and equity close at hand. These techniques have been demonstrated and confirmed at the many organizations he has worked with over the past decade.

Kent has made several guest appearances on the TV talk show, Where the Jobs Are. The show aired every weekday on KSAZ-Fox Channel 10 in the Phoenix metropolitan market and on the Cox cable network in a half hour format. Many business owners, managers and candidates watched the show and participated with high enthusiasm. The program was a huge success and is the basis of the notion that business owners and managers need and want help from mentors or "coaches" on how to find the right talent.

Kent is married (Gina) and has 3 children. Special interests past and present: United Way Co-Chair, NCAA Division 1, NJCCAA, ISF Umpire, and selected to officiate at 16 National Championship tournaments.
