Gumball Mania/Gumball Wizard

A startup in the early 90’s this company was taken from a small manufacturing business and sold vending products throughout the world. Development of several versions of the machines were put into the market and sales have been in excess of $10 million. The products were highly successful and have been seen on The Price is Right Game Show as a regular giveaway; First Kid, Monolith and Richie Rich Warner Brothers movies; and named as the Product of the Year for the popular magazine Sharper Image.

Cyberlink

An internet service provider taken from an obscure beginning to the number three ISP in Arizona. Sold the company to AZ Link.

Paranet

A successful IT consulting firm based in Houston, TX, taken to a new level of services and growth by landing large accounts like Motorola, Honeywell, Intel, 3 Com, Albertsons, Phelps Dodge, Zion’s Bank, IHC, the State of Utah, and several other large companies nationwide. Over $70 million in sales generated. Brian oversaw the development of the Strategic Plan to sell the company to Sprint for $425 million.

Sprint

Regional Director, developed the initial strategy to move the region from $1.5 million to $40 million in sales. Compiled the team and the plan, and developed the strategic plan, implemented the plan and exceeded the goal by $5 million.

SynLime

A startup located in Phoenix, AZ that invented a synthetic, highly concentrated product to replace the big, bulky bags of lime used in concrete. Consulted with the management team on how to procure a contract with Home Depot, and further marketing concepts. The Home Depot contract is now in place.

Gilson Engineering

The primary study focused on the Market Analysis and Feasibility Study. Also included in the study were demographics and psychographics of the area, traffic flow, competition within the area, and a future outlook of proposed properties. Four options for the highest and best use for the property were included.

Dahle Properties

In an area that was growing, a study was compiled from many hours of research and planning to come up with the highest and best use of the proposed parcel of land. Based on location, demographics, psychographics and zoning, close proximity to the freeway, and lack of competition, it was determined that a commercial site would be the best option to service the surrounding businesses and residential areas within a three mile radius.

Kid Internet Technologies

Developed the original business plan to launch the business and allow management to begin raising capital. Developed the initial marketing campaign to sell the software to parents and school administrators throughout the country.

Best Practices – Electronic Medical Records

Helped launch the business and develop the strategic plan for a distributor network. Developed the vendor pool and worked closely with the service and product suppliers to provide the best overall pricing for the distributors. The company was acquired by a national medical records company.

Best Practices – Emergency Medical Services

Created a new market focus in the medical community to launch a product that catered to the Emergency Medical Services industry and then developed the business plan to enter this market space. EMS services throughout the country and in Australia embraced the new technology as it was marketed to this market space.

Securitis

Developed the original business plan and Go-To-Market Strategy to expand the company and secure funding for new product lines. New lines of sales revenue were uncovered and expanded upon thus creating an attractive acquisition for the Company. Sales increased from $250,000 to $6 million. The Company was acquired on the basis of the business plan and new direction of the business.

PRO 10 Originals

Developed the original business plan for obtaining conventional funding and to expand its manufacturing capabilities. The company was able to secure funding and a new line of equipment. Developed an overall Strategic Plan for expanding the business into international sales and retail sales. Re-engineered and expanded the product line from two products to 14 products with new names and brand identity. Assisted the company in obtaining vendor relations with large national retail companies. Created the national television ad campaign to launch the new series of products.

Children’s Miracle Network

Developed a new fund raising program to replace one that was failing miserably. The program had produced $750,000 the previous year. New strategies were developed and implemented. The program was turned around, over 60 new positions were created, individuals were trained, new national and international strategic alliances were formed, and the program was turned around to produce over $5 million in donations. Coaching and training systems have been designed and implemented for the Non-Profit Charitable Organization. This program will produce over $40 million in new donations over a 48 month period.

Business Training Camp

Created the business plan to fund the initial operations of the business. Coaching and training systems have been designed and implemented, and over 40 seminars and workshops have been created for small businesses, large enterprises and government agencies.

Iomega

Initial assessment of the global IT infrastructure revealed several weaknesses in the rollout plan for a software conversion. A strategy was developed and a team put in place to assist this global manufacturing company in a smooth rollout. The project was completed on time and under budget with several other side projects successfully completed in the 3,400 seat conversion/rollout.
